Theft Distraction theft at Parking meter where credit cards have been compromised and used. M&S car park is always the one to be targeted for this offence. Unless you ask for help do not let anyone come across and tell you what's wrong. These criminals always target the elderly.
New Years Eve and I'm working an early shift. I was surprised to encounter two shoplifters not seen by me for a little while loitering up and about this early. (Before 9am) One of the stores had called me and made me aware having asked them to leave. Had a polite chat with them whilst they had a coffee in the café opposite the store. Not the politest of feedback but they caught the next bus after going to the bookies.
I have an early start tomorrow morning again as working elsewhere again, so I will be horizontal checking my eyelids for cracks at midnight. They were still in one piece last night. If I do not encounter yourselves whilst out and about today please have a good New Years celebration and hopefully we can catch in the New Year.
You supportive neighbourhood officer.
